Friday already.
(Good thing you finished all your work this week.)
Here at Maplevine, I'm still launching, still laughing and still eagerly anticipating the next project. If you need any help with holiday promotions, don't hesitate to ask.
Now's the time to get ready!
May your weekend be grand,

Reach Millennials on their terms
Trying to reach those elusive twentysomethings? Here's a great article from a Millennial herself -- with succinct ideas for your own marketing campaigns.

And my favorite part from the article:
Keep them updated
Don't let your content lie dormant for too long. Millennials have a short attention span and it doesn't take long for them to become bored. Constant updates -- whether it be through the medium you are interacting in or others (landing pages, blogs or email) -- and constant rewards are the best way to ensure you keep Millennials' interest.
Mint, Winner of Techcrunch40
There's a new personal finance app online that is lovely to use, and offers more analytics than you knew you wanted.
I've been lucky enought to be a beta member for a while and I'm utterly impressed. The usability is mom-safe and their relationships with existing financial institutions is as grown-up as it gets.

Icehouse Beer
Blah blah beer sites, hot ladies, flashy animation and eye rolling machismo. The Icehouse beer site has all that, yes, but it also has some great functionality.
With their unfortunately-named "Pimp Yo'self" application, you can make your own Icehouse door hangers, wallpaper or poster.
Their age verification feature is a stylie way to make sure your visitors are the right visitors.

Now I Feel, from Sony
Sony's Now I Feel promotion has tools for users to view, rate
and create images and sounds.
The site consists of two sections: a Gallery where users sort,
search for, view and rate submissions and a Create section,
where users make art pieces.
The site is both experimental and good looking. And very
simple to use. Apparently the interface was tested on both the
parents and children of the developers.
They're launching Phase Two October 8 which will feature a contest
among the best designs; the site will be taken down November 6.
Not too much audio -- but you may want to be prepared.

Dundler Mifflin Goes Online
Have you seen NBC's The Office? They've gone and done one better by creating a web site for the fictional paper company Dundler Mifflin.
It's wry, it's funny and it's a great way to promote the show. You can even purchase Dundler Mifflin items -- what great gifts for friends who are fans of the show.
What fake web project could you think up for your next campaign?
